WHAT IS FIRST LOVE ?

FIRST LOVE 

There are a lot of firsts we encounter in life, like owning our first bike, having our first drink, and our first day in school. Firsts are always most memorable moments in life, either way , one thing most people remember is their first love .

                                                    When we think about our first love, there is mixture of emotions we all feel which can be hard to explain in words. but why, even though our first love may have happened many years ago, do a lot of us still think about it today ?

                                                                                                                       Here are some reasons why our first love are unforgettable;

·       Practically you can feel earth shattering for the first time. all of a sudden, you realize you care about someone else in a way that you didn’t fully understand was possible. Even though we are aware of love, but first time when you experience it opens up a world of possibility for you and excitement, with lot of fear. It is unlike anything you have felt before, which leaves a permanent mark in your memory.

 

·       However it comes with a lot of expectations. And if your expectations are not meet, you don’t get the same love from someone , its really painful and and stays with you lifelong , its become unbearable for some of us, but we simply need to see it from different perspective. The love which ends is surly not the best and final relationship in your life.

 

·       While many times we may be triggered to think of our first love in an emotional way when we hear a certain song, it’s the hormonal imprints that cause the life long effect we all experience.

 

·       For most of us,our first love was innocent. It was free of manipulation on our part and often developed organically over time. It wasn’t something you were  trying to do, it just happened. The lack of motive or intention makes it seem even more special.

 

·       it is often marked by a period of personal growth and development, a time of new experiences and facing your fears. As a result, the relationship helps shape who you are and how you proceed through the world, and may represent the first time you allowed someone else’s influence to have such a significant impact on who you are at your core.

 

    Pickhardt adds this perfect description of first love:

“Life changing is how “in-love” feels in adolescence because it is a far more moving and compelling relationship than the young people have known before. The experience is all consuming — so each is always on the other’s mind… It is a merged relationship — so each one feels part of the other, not quite whole when they are not together… The intimacy is deeper than with anyone else. Too feel so deeply known and deeply knowing makes other relationships seem shallower by comparison.
